HANOI, Vietnam — Global technology corporation FPT has signed a Strategic Investment Agreement and Master Service Agreement with Blueward—formerly ISTN and recognized as South Korea’s largest independent SAP consulting and IT services provider. Through its South Korean subsidiary, FPT will acquire up to a 10% equity stake in Blueward ahead of the company’s planned IPO in 2028. This partnership aims to fortify SAP ERP consulting depth, delivery capabilities, and market competitiveness in the Korean enterprise sector.
The collaboration unites Blueward’s extensive SAP ERP consulting experience and strong client portfolio with FPT’s global scale, including nearly 2,000 SAP specialists and decades of expertise in complex digital and business transformation projects. The two companies will jointly implement co-selling and co-delivery models that accelerate project execution, streamline costs, and elevate service quality for enterprise customers.
Through this alliance, FPT will expand its SAP ERP service portfolio across consulting, SAP S/4HANA implementation, SAP BTP extension development, SAP AI-driven use cases, and long-term application management. The partnership also extends into finance and capital markets, combining Blueward’s deep financial systems knowledge with FPT’s capabilities in cloud, data, and AI to deliver integrated solutions for trading operations, settlement systems, risk management, surveillance, IFRS reporting, and SAP FI/CO modernization.
Nguyen Khai Hoan, Senior Executive Vice President of FPT Software, highlighted the rising demand for integrated SAP transformation across South Korea and APAC. Blueward CEO Kim Jong-do emphasized the partnership’s value in improving customer trust, efficiency, and Blueward’s evolution into an AI- and cloud-native enterprise.
FPT’s long-standing partnership with SAP, spanning over two decades, has positioned the company as a Regional Strategic Partner in APJ. In South Korea, FPT has established nearly a decade of local operations, supported by 300 on-site professionals and more than 2,500 offshore engineers.
