Published on

Saudi Arabia and the United States have signed a Strategic Artificial Intelligence Partnership aimed at accelerating AI development, strengthening technological cooperation, and expanding economic opportunities between the two nations. The agreement was formalized in Washington by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The partnership leverages Saudi Arabia’s strengths in land, energy resources, and strategic geography to build AI technology clusters capable of serving local, regional, and global demand. It also draws on the advanced US tech ecosystem to support economic growth, innovation, and next-generation digital infrastructure.
According to the agreement, cooperation will include supplying advanced semiconductors, developing AI applications, building high-performance AI infrastructure, and expanding national capabilities. Both countries also committed to fostering high-value investments that enhance productivity, innovation, and long-term economic security.
The partnership is expected to strengthen collaboration between Saudi and American companies in emerging technologies across key sectors such as health, education, energy, mining, and transportation—helping both nations advance their digital transformation goals.
